As believers, we are instructed to be faithful and generous with what has been entrusted to us, including our finances. Proverbs 3:9 says to, “Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.” The most direct way to do so is by giving to your local church. Whether giving a tithe, offering, or specific ministry donation, the ongoing work of the body of Christ is maintained by the contributions of its members. First Assembly DeLand thanks you for your faithful support. Listed below is an explanation of the several different ways that we allocate contributions:

General Fund: Tithes & Offerings
Gifts to this fund are used for the various ministry and support areas of the church. You can find out more information about the various ministries that your giving supports by visiting our ministries page ("ministries page" clicks to ministries page) Contributions to a specific ministry should be made by check directly to First Assembly DeLand with a notation of the name of the ministry.

Building Fund: Leaving a Legacy & View Book Items
Gifts to this fund are used to pay down the debt of our buildings and property and sow seeds into the future facilities of our church.

Missions:
Gifts to this fund are used to support mission projects worldwide. First Assembly DeLand has been supporting and engaging missionaries around the world. Today, the church supports over 200 missionaries in as many as 200 countries around the world, and has committed 30% of its annual operating budget to reach the world with the message of the Gospel!
Contributions to a specific missionary should be made by check directly to First Assembly DeLand with a notation of the name of the missionary.

Benevolence:
Gifts to this fund are used for assisting people of our community during a life transition or crises.

At various times and seasons we may activate funds for a specific project. Check with the church office to find out more about those special projects.
